Flying Eagles Welcome Back Daga and Bameyi for All Africa Games

In a significant boost for Nigeria’s U20 team, the Flying Eagles, Enyimba’s midfield powerhouse Daniel Daga and team captain Daniel Bameyi have been summoned back to the squad for the forthcoming All Africa Games in Ghana. The team will also see the return of goalkeeper Nathaniel Nwosu, Benjamin Frederick, and Kehinde Ibrahim among others, as announced by coach Ladan Bosso.

A total of 30 players have been called up for duty, with preparations set to commence in Abuja. The Flying Eagles are on a mission to surpass their previous achievement, having secured a silver medal at the last Games held in Rabat, Morocco, in 2019. Under Bosso’s guidance, the team reached the quarter finals of the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Argentina last year, showcasing their potential on the global stage.
