Best Talent FC Triumphs in Green Lock Summer Tournament

Best Talent FC of Mowe emerged as champions of the inaugural GreenLock Summer Football Pre Season tournament, held at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State. They secured a 2-0 victory over Green Lock FC, thanks to goals from their prolific striker, Azeez Tijani, in both halves of the match. This win handed the host team a surprising defeat on their home turf.

Known as the integrity team, Best Talent FC remained unbeaten throughout the tournament. They opened with a 1-0 victory against Star Builders, dominated TCCG FC 5-2, and drew 1-1 with Magic Stars FC to top Group A. Green Lock FC, coached by Bolarinwa, also topped their group and entered the final undefeated. The final was highly anticipated, with both teams showing strong performances leading up to it.

The tactical and technical advice they internalized reflected in the game. They resisted all incursions thrown at them by the homers, Green Lock team, and it paid off, said Coach Gullit.
