Prior to this role, she was the Secretary General of the NWFL Club Owners’ Association and the Chairperson of Nasarawa Amazons FC, a position confirmed by Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State in 2020.

Before the formation of Nasarawa State in 1996, Hajiya Hussaina played professional basketball for Plateau State and the Nigerian Women’s Basketball Team. Post-retirement, she co founded the Nasarawa Amazons FC, originally known as ‘Solid Babes,’ and held various managerial roles before becoming the Chairperson. Under her leadership, Nasarawa Amazons FC has won numerous trophies and produced players for Nigeria’s National Teams, including the Super Falcons, Falconets, and Flamingos.
