The new one-storey building includes two three-bedroom flats and four self-contained one-bedroom apartments, designed to offer a modern and comfortable living environment.
Sporting Director Ifeanyi Ekwueme praised the initiative, highlighting features such as standby generators and overhead water tanks to ensure consistent electricity and water supply. “This is the first time Enyimba coaches are benefiting from such welfare facilities, thanks to the leadership of the Kanu Nwankwo-led management,” said Ekwueme, noting Kanu’s influence in professionalising the club’s operations.
In addition to the housing project, a new security post at the Enyimba Stadium has been completed to provide round-the-clock safety during matches and beyond. “The security post ensures 24-hour protection for fans and property,” Ekwueme added.
The upgrades reflect the club’s commitment to modernising its infrastructure under Kanu’s management, aiming to cement Enyimba’s status as a leading name in African football.
