Ex goalkeeper Vanzekin blames management for Bendel Insurance struggles

Ambrose Vanzekin, former youth international goalkeeper, has voiced his frustration over Bendel Insurance FC’s current struggles, attributing their woes to poor management. Bendel Insurance, owned by Edo State and based in Benin City, currently sits at the bottom of the Nigerian Professional Football League NPFL table with only nine points from 11 matches. A recent three point deduction imposed by the NPFL, following fan misconduct, has worsened their position. Vanzekin, who resigned as Bendel Insurance’s goalkeeper coach in September, expressed disappointment in the club he once played for, calling it “home.”
