Shooting Stars Add 5 New Faces for NPFL Second Half Boost

In preparation for the second half of the 2023/24 Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL season, Ibadan’s Shooting Stars Sports Club has announced the acquisition of five new players. The recruits include Alimi Sunday, a former Golden Eaglets star from Sunshine Stars of Akure, and Jimoh Oni, who makes the switch from Inter Lagos, a Nigeria National League NNL outfit. Hadi Mohammed joins from Akwa United of Uyo, adding depth to the squad. The signings are rounded off with Adewale Yusuf from Lobi Stars and left back Ehibe Victor, promising to strengthen the team across the board.

Concurrently, the Oluyole Warriors have bid farewell to six of their players, including striker Kareem Ademola, who has moved to Ceramical Cleopatra in Egypt, Anayor Ogbonna, and goalkeeper Ovunda Darlintin. The departures also include striker Emeka Obiora, winger Michael Eneruna, and center back Ezeala Uche, the latter joining Rangers International.
