In a thrilling semi final at the 12th edition of the Optima Energy Gold Cup 2024, Beyond Limits Academy secured their place in the final for the second consecutive year with a 1-0 victory over FC Ebedei. The closely contested Ogun State derby, held at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, was decided by a stunning goal from Beyond Limits’ star player, Kparobo Arierhi.
In the 44th minute, Arierhi, with his back to goal, turned and unleashed a curling strike from the edge of the box. The moment the ball left my foot, I felt it was going in. I’m glad I could help the team reach the final again.
