Kwara United has appointed Olatunbosun Joseph Abayomi, a University of Ilorin graduate, as their new psychologist. Abayomi replaces Gbenga Akinola, who served in this role for 15 years. Akinola has expressed his support for Abayomi, stating that he has been guided to help him succeed in his new position.

Abayomi, who initially joined Kwara United as a Personal Assistant to Chairman Kumbi Titiloye, has begun his new role since the club resumed training on July 15.
