A total of 30 women coaches have successfully completed the first module of the three module CAF C License program in Abuja. These coaches, including former Nigerian internationals and current serving coaches, underwent a rigorous week of classroom and practical sessions. They are set to begin a two week internship with various teams shortly.
NFF Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen, expressed his satisfaction with the coaches’ dedication and conduct during the first module. He praised their eagerness to learn and the support provided by the NFF leadership for coach education programs.
The second module of the program is scheduled for August 12-20, followed by another two week internship from August 23 to September 4. The final module, which includes examinations, will take place from September 9-19.
Notable participants include former Super Falcons stars such as Precious Dede, Joy Jegede, Esther Michael, Maureen Eke, and others. The coach educators’ team includes Dr. Terry Babatunde Eguaoje, Isah Ladan Bosso, Wemimo Olanrewaju, and Lanrence Ndaks.
