The Oyo State Football Association FA, led by His Royal Highness Oba Dr James Oluyemi Odeniran, in collaboration with Peculiar Ultimate, has scheduled the final of the Governor Seyi Makinde GSM U-20 Football League for Monday, December 30, 2024. The event will occur at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
The final will feature a clash between Rehoboth Football Academy, Ibadan, and AFRAS Football Academy, Iseyin, at 3 PM, preceded by a third place match at 1 PM between Muhibbat Football Academy, Iseyin, and Ana Football Academy, Ibadan.
The competition boasts a prize pool of ₦500,000 for the champions, ₦300,000 for the runners-up, and ₦200,000 for the team finishing third. Additional accolades will recognise the Best Goalkeeper, Highest Goal Scorer, and Best Referee of the tournament.
