Super Eagles Awarded Honors, Property for AFCON Final Show

Despite their narrow defeat to Cote d’Ivoire in the final match in Abidjan, the team’s effort did not go unnoticed.

The generous awards included plots of land and flats in the FCT, a token of gratitude from FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and the Federal Government of Nigeria. This honour was extended to the backroom staff as well, acknowledging their integral role in the team’s success. Players previously honoured with the Member Order of the Niger MON will see their awards upgraded, reflecting their continued excellence and contribution to Nigerian football.
