The Ogun State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN has congratulated Otunba Kunle Soname, Chairman of Remo Stars Football Club, and the clubโ€™s management for securing a spot in the CAF Champions League. Remo Stars finished second in the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL table, amassing 65 points from 38 matches, just behind Rangers Football Club.

SWAN Chairman Comrade Michael Azeez Ogunsiji attributed the clubโ€™s success to meticulous preparation and hard work. He emphasized the need for strengthening the teamโ€™s striking position to ensure progress beyond the first round of the CAF Champions League.

We want to congratulate the Chairman of Remo Stars Football Club, Otunba Kunle Soname, management, and the entire coaching crew for securing the ticket to represent Nigeria at the CAF Champions League.
