Super Falcons midfielder Deborah Abiodun has completed her move to the National Women’s Soccer League NWSL side Washington Spirit. The 21 year old joins from Pittsburgh Panthers, where she had an impressive two-season stint. She has signed a three year deal with an option for a fourth year.
During her time at Pitt, Abiodun scored 10 goals and registered three assists in 34 appearances. She earned recognition on the All ACC teams in both seasons, including All Conference Freshman and Third teams in 2023 and Second Team All ACC honours in 2024.
