Wikki Tourists Welcome Auwal Musa Gotel as New Chairman

The Bauchi State government has officially named Auwal Musa Gotel as the Chairman of the Nigeria National League NNL team, Wikki Tourists. Gotel, who had previously held the position on an interim basis, will now permanently lead the club known as the Bauchi Elephants.

The announcement also introduced new members to the management committee, including Umar Saidu, Dauda M. Chiroma, Lawal Garba Dass, Sadiq Yusuf, and Alhassan I. Muhammed. Sa’adu Chadi has been appointed as the secretary of the committee.

Governor Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir Gidado confirmed these appointments, highlighting their merit based selection. Currently, the Wikki Tourists are in a strong position, sitting second on the NNL table with 23 points, as they aim for a spot in the NNL playoffs.
